Coming to America

The first of the McGoogan clan to come to America from Scotland was Joseph Patrick McGoogan. He and his wife Jane, children Joseph James b: 1884 in Scotland, then James P. b: 1885, Mary Agnes b: 1889, Anne Burnadette b: 1891, John David b: 1894, Daniel Lawrence b: 1897, Albert Charles b: 1900, Lucille Rita b: 1902, and Paul George b: 1904 were born in the US. The McGoogan families all seem to have come through the Port of Philadelphia, eventually settling in Lisbon, Ohio.
